National Infertility Awareness Week is here, and with it comes a plethora of ways to get involved. We touched on a few ideas previously, but now that the week is in full swing we wanted to share some events and activities you can take in - in your town, or even from your home. has a running list of events available on their site, but a few highlights include:

Monday, April 23rd

Online - Infertility Peer Support Group Google+ Hangout, 7:00PM - 9:00PM

Chicago, IL - Learn About Fertility Treatment, 7:00PM - 8:30PM - Learn about Fertility Center of Illinois' state-of-the-art embryology lab and the day-to-day journey from fertilization to implantation with Dr. Christopher Sipe and embryologists Jill Matthews and Elissa Pelts.

Online - Pay It Forward Virtual Education Webinar, 7:00PM  8:30PM - Join this free 2 night webinar featuring talks from nationally renowned experts on a variety of fertility-related topics, including IVF 101 and PCOS.

Indianapolis, IN - Fertility and Family Building Fair, 3:00PM - 9:00PM - Hosted by the Indiana Collaboration for Families with Infertility, this first annual fair will feature five presentations, vendors, and family building advocates.

Wednesday, April 25th

Washington, DC - RESOLVE Advocacy Day, 8:00AM - 5:00PM - Come to Washington to tell your elected officials why they must defend family-building options

Crest Hill, IL - Infertility Awareness Education Seminar, 6:30PM - 9:00PM - The Center for Reproductive Health educates the community about available options for infertility treatment and ways to cope.

Thursday, April 26th

Boise, ID - Patient Education Seminar, 6:00PM - Meet the staff of Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine and learn how they can assist patients in their family-building needs.

Framingham, MA - Parenting After Infertility: Stories of Hope, 6:30PM - 8:30PM - A panel discussion with the infertility community.

Saturday, April 28th

Jacksonville, FL - Jacksonville Fertility Awareness Seminar, 9:00AM - 12:00PM - The annual seminar addressess a variety of topics including acupuncture, stress relief, and nutrition.

Atlanta, GA - Walk of Hope, 8:00AM - 11:00AM - A day to recognize the many ways families are built. Anyone can register as a walker or donor to raise awareness about infertility.

Kansas City, MO - KC Family Building Conference, 9:00AM - 12:30PM  - This second annual event will feature keynote speakers ranging from doctors to community leaders discussing the many options available for building a family.

Omaha, NE -5K for Fertility, 9:00AM - 11:00AM - 2BFertile is hosting an annual 5K run/walk to raise awareness about fertility issues.

We strongly encourage you to look in to events in your area, and even if you can't be there physically, spread the word. Take to your social media outlets and get infertility on the radar. And be sure to check All Things ConceivAble throughout the week for more conversation-starters. Together, we will ensure that infertility can no longer be ignored.
