The average cost of an egg donation engagement ranges from $37,000 to $65,000, based on varying services, fees and medical expenses. This includes egg donor compensation, egg donor program fees, the cost of IVF and fertility treatments and pricing for the direct agreement, travel and other expenses.

IVF & Embryo Creation
All costs associated with the IVF procedures including medical testing, screening, laboratory, medications, ultrasounds, and doctor visits are in addition to the fee structure above, and paid directly to the IVF center. A detailed and complete list of these fees can be obtained through your IVF clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long can the donor remain reserved?

Donors can be reserved for two business days. If payment is not received within two business days, the donor will be released back to the database.

When are fees due?

Fees are due in two (2) stages:

  • Stage 1: The $2,500 Pre-Approval Fee is due once the Intended Parent(s) are notified the donor has confirmed she is available for matching. This typically occurs within one business day of the Donor’s reservation on the database. This fee of $2,500 is non-refundable, but may apply to up to three (3) donors.
  • Stage 2: Final program fees are due within two (2) business days of receipt of final invoice. This payment includes Professional Fee, Donor Compensation, Direct Agreement, and Donor Expense Account.

What if the donor does not achieve medical clearance from the clinic, or the cycle is cancelled prior to the donor's injection start date?

  • The Professional Fee and unused donor fees will roll-over to the selection of a new donor.
  • A full Professional Fee refund will be tendered should the Intended Parent(s) decide not to proceed with another donor with ConceiveAbilities.

Do the fees listed above include medical costs associated with IVF treatment?

All costs associated with the IVF procedure, which include but are not limited to Donor’s initial screening, physical exam, ultrasounds, monitoring, medications, laboratory testing, and doctor visits, are are separate from the fees detailed above. Please consult with your Clinic to obtain a breakdown of these costs.
