More than a dozen Chicago area surrogates and their families attended our annual picnic earlier this month. While the traditional cookie decorating festivities continued, we did manage to break one tradition – rain! We were finally able to enjoy a day of sunshine that was perfect for blowing bubbles, riding scooters, and rolling down hills – along with munchies and good conversation. It's always a treat to see the incredible women who make our program ...

It wouldn’t be summer without reunions, and we were thrilled to host more than 70 people at our  5th annual surrogate family picnic in Denver. Everyone gathered for a day of sunshine, silly games, face painting, keeping cool with a fountain and – of course – sweet treats. The Ben & Jerry’s cart was a hit with kids of all ages, but visiting with old and new friends is always the highlight. “My fami...

Team Baby are troupers – a little rain couldn't dampen our spirits at the Chicago GC Family Picnic this weekend. 2 dozen people gathered despite the chilly day (and Bears game) to catch up, blow bubbles, sport some serious (temporary) tattoo art, and decorate cookies. We look forward every year to this opportunity for seasoned surrogacy veterans and newcomers to ConceiveAbilities’ program to connect and visit – including former “intended parents” who are now experiencing parenthood thanks to their incredible gestational carrier. Check out the fun!

We were so excited to have the opportunity to spend time with the ConceiveAbilities community this past weekend in Denver. More the 60 people, including surrogates, families, and staff got together for an annual picnic – complete with relay races, fun in the water, and plenty of ice cream to go around! Surrogacy involves the entire family, and watching all of the families come together is always heartwarming. As an agency, we love the opportunity to ...

Seven of our Chicago surrogates, their partners, and intended parents gathered for brunch and bocce ball. It was a neat chance to see some of the surrogates with their intended parents – we don't have many opportunities to gather at the same time. Plus, it gave the intended parents time to visit with others who are different stages of the process. One of the surrogates, nearly 9 months pregnant with twins, was vibrant proof that a ...
